Description

Program offering people with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder or significant learning challenges to increase their essential employability and community living skills and gain work experience. Students can access:

  • college-level courses adapted to the student's needs and limitations
  • supervised internships leading to a certificate
Eligibility
People with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders or significant learning challenges who meet one of the following criteria:
  • have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

  • have an Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC)

  • have a Certificate of Accomplishment (C of A)

  • be less than 19 years of age at the beginning of the school year

      • Candidates must also demonstrate:
    • the ability to find their own transportation

    • a level of autonomy that does not require constant supervision

    • a willingness to participate fully in the program
