Description

Program offering individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or significant learning challenges the opportunity to increase their essential employability and community living skills and work experiences.

  • provides the student with access to college level courses tailored to their needs and limitations, as well as supervised internships, leading to a certificate
  • seeks to improve core competencies for employment and living in community
Eligibility
Individuals with a developmental disability, autism spectrum disorder or significant learning challenges
* Students must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), an Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC), a Certificate of Accomplishment (C of A) or be less than 19 years of age at the beginning of the school year
* Individuals must demonstrate a willingness to participate fully in the program and also demonstrate a level of autonomy that does not require constant supervision
