Service - fees vary ; The hospitals are responsible for billing the patient directly for all ambulance transportation
* If the ambulance call is deemed unnecessary, the Ontario Health Card will not cover it and the client will have to pay the entire amount for the trip, unless a private insurance is available.
* Fee assistance available for eligible clients ; assistance is provided by the Ontario Health Card.
