We’re excited to share that on June 15 2026, the ANCHOR program will expand east into Lowertown, Sandy Hill, Vanier, the Byward Market and Overbrook. In the coming months, we look forward to connecting with community members and partner organizations as this important service grows. ANCHOR provides a compassionate, equity-centered, community-based response to mental health and substance use crises, offering support without a police response. At Community Navigation of Eastern Ontario/211, we’re proud to partner in this initiative and help connect people to the services they need. Thank you to our partners at Centretown Community Health Centre, Somerset West Community Health Centre and the City of Ottawa for their continued collaboration in expanding this vital support to more community members. More information to come! Thank you also to the Ottawa’s Guiding Council for Mental Health and Addictions for their leadership.
