We’re excited to share that on June 15 2026, the ANCHOR program will expand east into Lowertown, Sandy Hill, Vanier, the Byward Market and Overbrook. In the coming months, we look forward to connecting with community members and partner organizations as this important service grows. ANCHOR provides a compassionate, equity-centered, community-based response to mental health and substance use crises, offering support without a police response. At Community Navigation of Eastern Ontario/211, we’re proud to partner in this initiative and help connect people to the services they need. Ottawa Public Health’s (OPH) Mental Health team is pleased to announce the launch of a new online training course: Building Healthy Brains: The Foundation of Lifelong Wellness.
